What if I have a dental emergency when your office is closed?

Dental emergencies can be painful and overwhelming, and our caring team of dental professionals as dedicated to helping you relieve your pain and discomfort and get your smile back on track as quickly as possible.

If your emergency occurs during office hours, we will do everything we can to work you into the schedule the same day. As dental emergencies often occur after hours, we also have a system in place so that you can reach us when you need us. How often should I schedule a routine dental checkup?

You should meet with our dentist at least twice each year (every 6 months) for a dental cleaning and exam. Regular cleanings and exams help detect any developing problems in the earliest stages, and help you keep your mouth healthy so that you can avoid gum disease, tooth decay, and other problems before they can damage your oral health. Depending on your oral health history and ongoing medical conditions, we may recommend a more frequent schedule your checkups and cleanings.
What are my options for replacing missing teeth?
Parkdale Dental Center offers a variety of options for replacing your missing teeth, including:

Dental implants

Dental bridges

Full and partial dentures

We encourage you to make an appointment as soon as possible if you are missing a tooth. When missing teeth are not replaced the surrounding teeth can driving into the empty space, causing your smile to become misaligned, which damages your bite and contributes to the deterioration of your gum tissue.
